MISSION & HISTORY.
Motivated by desire to bring up the next generations of artists, Manhattan in the Mountains has been among the top summer music festivals in the United States since 2012. Established by performing musicians and pedagogues Tatiana Goncharova, Grigory Kalinovsky, Joanne Polk, and Jeffrey Langford in the heart of the Catskill Mountains, MinM became the summer home for many outstanding young talents from all over the world.
The unique atmosphere of our festival allows for a complete mentorship throughout the three weeks of the festival. Students and faculty not only share their meals together, but they also have a chance to learn from each other through collaboration on stage. We take pride in our alumni, who represent the legacy of MinM at top universities and conservatories in more than 16 countries.
